Renfrew Riverside will knit together Braehead and Renfrew town centre, bringing significant benefits to the local communities.
Significant financial investment
is being made by the developers to
Kirklandneuk and St James’ primary
schools to improve
facilities and help cope with the expected
influx of pupils.
Renfrew Town Centre is in line for a multi-million pound makeover. Amongst the planned improvements are wider footpaths and new short stay car parking spaces for shoppers. The development will also extend and improve Andrews Avenue and Station Road linking the town centre to Renfrew Riverside. Footpaths, cycle routes and local play areas will also be provided throughout the entire development area.
Among the economic benefits
it will bring to Renfrew will be the
creation of circa 5000 new
jobs, with a further 8,000 forecast
post construction. Not only that, it
will bring more trade to the immediate
surroundings, including Renfrew town
centre.
Everyone will be able to share in the boost to the local economy and enjoy access to the River Clyde, improved road network, public park and riverside walkway/cycle route.
